You can watch the interview here, where he explains how taking the Bible “literally” robs it of its power, why Karl Marx’s vision of communism is more Christian than modern American Christianity, and other subjects sure to ruffle some feathers. All of this is delivered, incidentally, in a fantastic New England accent — something of a bonus.
